MySql Essentials (in reality MySql Server) is a complete manager for administering MySql databases, including the basic functions for normal control of the stored data.

The server is available as a program apart for use in a client/server network, is available as a library and can be inserted in diverse independent applications, which can be used by themselves and in places where there is no network.

MySql Essentials (MySql Server) also looks after security. It uses a system of privileges and passwords that is very secure and reliable. It lets you verify a server, and all the password traffic produced is encrypted.

It also has support for running SQL commands, useful for operations with tables (supervise, optimize, create, delete, modify, repair, etc). These commands are obtained via the command line and the mysqlcheck client. There is also a myisamchk utility to do really fast operations in MyISAM tables.

MySql Essentials (MySql Server) is multi-layer, with indpendent and very stable modules, which offer great stability and functioning for the whole program. It also uses the MyISAM storage engine, with which the limit of the table size is big enough not to depend on the MySql itself, but on the operating system it is in.
